My kid was obsessed with Goosebumps and spent several weeks writing his own stories. He has Asperger's so the devotion was VERY high, but he would get bored with one and jump to the next, so none of the stories are complete. I just didn't want to lose these files in the "old computer wastelands," so I'm publishing a copy for myself. I am also hoping once he sees his work in print, maybe it will motivate him to fully flesh out one of his stories and turn it into a real book. He's a super clever kid, and I'm happy that I get to make this memento from when he was ten years old.
